YANKEE & SUPER YANKEE EXPLAINED
YANKEE
To explain these kind of bets before placing them and to help you out, here is a brief summary of a yankee and super yankee each way bet.
A yankee consists of 4 selections and there are 11 ways to win:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 1 Four Fold
We will be backing each of the yankee’s each way which means we cover the place markets as well but the stake doubles and you are covering 22 bets instead of the 11 if you just go for the outright wins. This means that you can still get returns for horses placing and not just winning which is perfect for the ones at bigger prices. The more that win/place obviously means the more the returns are on the yankee.
SUPER YANKEE
Exactly the same as above but with 5 selections instead of 4.
A yankee consists of 5 selections and there are 26 ways to win:
- 10 Doubles
- 10 Trebles
- 5 Four Folds
- 1 Five Fold
We will be backing each of the super yankee’s each way which means we cover the place markets as well but the stake doubles and you are covering 52 bets instead of the 26 if you just go for the outright wins. This means that you can still get returns for horses placing and not just winning which is perfect for the ones at bigger prices. The more that win/place obviously means the more the returns are on the super yankee.
LUCKY 15 & 31’S EXPLAINED
LUCKY 15
To first explain these kind of bets before you place them, here is a brief summary of a lucky 15 & lucky 31 each way bet.
A lucky 15 consists of 4 selections and there are 15 ways to win:
- 4 Singles
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 1 Four Fold
We will be backing each of the lucky 15’s as an each way which means we cover the place markets as well but the stake doubles and you are covering 30 bets instead of the 15 if you just go for the outright wins. This means that you can still get returns for horses placing and not just winning which is perfect for the ones at bigger prices. The more that win obviously the more returns you get on your lucky 15.
LUCKY 31
The lucky 31 is very similar to the lucky 15 but instead there are 31 bets instead of 15 and on an each way that means 62 bets.
This is a bet that consists of 5 selections which means there are 31 ways to win:
- 5 Singles
- 10 Doubles
- 10 Trebles
- 5 Four Folds
- 1 Five Fold
It works exactly the same as the lucky 15 but with more bets due to the 5 selections and you will need to tick the each way box if you want to do it the same way as we have.
As you can see below if you highlight the tickbox on bet365 for the each way it then turns it into a 62 item bet on the right hand side in the stake column.
